Crystal Palace maintained their unbeaten league record at home this season with a 2-0 win over Norwich City.

After their frustrating stoppage-time draw against Wolves last week, the Eagles started this game in energetic fashion.

Wilfried Zaha and Jordan Ayew tried their luck, but the hosts got the breakthrough on 21 minutes with a penalty.

Ibrahim Amadou fouled James McArthur in the area after the Scotman collected Zaha’s cross.

On his 100th Palace appearance, skipper Luka Milivojevic smashed the resulting spot-kick into the top right corner.

Vicente Guaita denied Emiliano Buendia with an excellent save before the half-time whistle.

McArthur, Patrick van Aanholt and Zaha all tried in vain to add a second goal for Palace.

But substitute Andros Townsend’s finish into the bottom corner sealed the victory inside time added-on from Zaha’s feed.

The result sees Palace equal their Premier League record of six unbeaten home matches.
