Report: Chelsea to raid Palace for Zaha if transfer ban is lifted

Selhurst Park

Chelsea are readying a bid for Crystal Palace star Wilfried Zaha if their transfer ban is lifted.

The Blues’ will hear the outcome of their appeal with the Court of Arbitration for Sport over their two-window suspension on November 20.

According to The Sun, Blues manager Frank Lampard will have £150m to spend if the decision gets overturned.

Zaha is on Lampard’s shopping list, along with Leicester left-back Ben Chilwell and RB Leipzing’s Germany striker Timo Werner.

Palace rejected Arsenal’s low-ball offer of £40m for Zaha during the close season, but Chelsea are likely to bid higher to get their man.

The Blues were found guilty of 150 transfer breaches and are currently banned from signing players by FIFA until next summer.

They have cash to spend after coining in more than £80m by recently selling Eden Hazard to Real Madrid.
