Crystal Palace want to take winger Yannick Carrasco on loan from Chinese Super League side Dalian Yifang.
Carrasco, 26, is looking to quit China for a move back to Europe and Palace have made enquiries, according to Sky Sports.
The Belgian has has netted 24 goals in 52 appearances after signing from Atletico Madrid for around £20m in 2018.
Palace are desperate for fresh recruits with wide players Andros Townsend and Jeffrey Schlupp among those on the casualty list.
Dalian Yifang would want a £3m loan fee to borrow Carrasco for the rest of the season but his wages of £180,000 a week could be a sticking point.
Carrasco was a reported target of Arsenal last summer, but they decided to go for Nicholas Pepe instead.
