Report: Palace to make a move for West Brom right-back

Nathan Ferguson

Crystal Palace have renewed their interest in West Bromwich Albion’s teenage defender Nathan Ferguson.

Palace are keen to buy a new right-back with Joel Ward the only recognised player in that position after Aaron Wan-Bisakka joined Manchester United last summer.

The Eagles have been in for Tottenham’s Kyle Walker-Peters but face a battle with Southampton for him.

West Brom could look to sell Ferguson to Palace or risk losing him for a nominal fee at the end of the season, reports the Evening Standard.

Meanwhile, Norwich City left-back Jamal Lewis won’t be signing for the Eagles, despite rumours to the contrary.

The Pink Un says there are no discussions going on between the clubs with City under no financial pressure to sell.
