A lame Crystal Palace were totally outplayed in a 1-0 defeat at the division’s newcomers Sheffield United on Saturday.
BBC Sport pundit and former Liverpool midfielder Danny Murphy feels Blades boss Chris Wilder got the better of his experienced counterpart Roy Hodgson.
“It was very tactically unaware by Palace and very unlike Roy [Hodgson] and his team,” Murphy said on Match of the Day 2. “They didn’t commit men forward, didn’t try to get back in the game, made the substitutions too late, a poor performance.”
