Skipper Luka Milivojevic has demanded Crystal Palace shape up – starting with the Premier League home clash against Wolverhampton Wanderers.

Palace suffered a defensive horror show with a 4-0 defeat away at Tottenham on Saturday.

Prior to that heavy loss, Palace had began the campaign well and were sitting in fourth position.

Milivojevic wants the Eagles to recover with back-to-back home games against Wolves on Sunday and then Norwich.

“In my opinion we should take responsibility for the [Tottenham] game because we are on the pitch and we decide most of the things from the game,” the Serbian told Palace TV.

“But [the manager] was not happy, we are not happy, but what can we do? It happened and all we can do is turn to the next game and change it because we have our next two games at home.

“We had a lot of confidence before this game, we had two weeks’ rest because of the international break. But they are a top side, they start very strong, very sharp. We need to put this game behind us, try to take the positives and try to correct the negatives.

“And then prepare for the next two games at home which is very important for us.”

Palace’s Belgian striker Christian Benteke agrees Palace can put things right at Selhurst Park.

He said: “We have two games in a row at home and we play a tough team on Sunday. We have to make sure we get those three points.”
